Privacy policy

Your travel history is personal. This page explains what AvioStory stores, why, and the control you keep over it.

What we store

When you use AvioStory without an account, your passport (visited countries, cities, regions, trips, lists and settings) is stored only on your device, in your browser's local storage.

When you create an account, we store your email address, your chosen handle and home country, and your passport data so it syncs across your devices.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your travel history with advertisers. Your passport is private by default and is only visible to others if you choose a public or friends-only profile in your settings.

Payments

Purchases of AvioStory Pro are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details; we only record that a purchase was completed so we can unlock Pro on your account.

Your controls

You can export your entire passport as a CSV file at any time from the You page. You can erase everything from the same place. If you delete your account, your stored passport data is removed from our servers.

Data we process to run the service

We process your account and passport data to provide the service you signed up for: sync, sharing features you enable, achievements and statistics. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, and map and flag imagery is loaded from public content services when you use those features.
